3. Enter your local form preferences
To get the most out of your new patient registrations, we worked with NHS England to build a 'Local Form' which follows on after the patient completed the NHS England registration form. You can find out more about this here.
4. Enter your contact info
This helps us get in touch with you if there are any issues during onboarding or once you have gone live.
5. Enter your practice details
The practice website will be included in the welcome message sent to newly registered patients.
If you have branch sites, let us know here!
6. Enter your billing details
We can redirect this information to someone more relevant at your practice. Just enter their email and we'll do the rest!
7. Adjust your target list size
We understand that you might care about controlling your list size, and a bit part of that is how you can increase this. We'd love to hear about your thoughts here.
8. Check your catchment area
If any changes need to be made, you can click on the chat bubble 💬 in the bottom right.
You can also tell us if you accept Out of Area registrations.
9. Set up the Smartcards
Follow the instructions to assign Smartcards so we can access your clinical system.
If you don't have permissions to do this, you can invite colleagues to help you with this.
(ℹ️ Note: SystmOne users won’t need to complete step 2 or 3)

11. Final Steps
Once you’ve completed all of these steps, we’ll need a little bit of time to get things set up our side and pull the list of your Usual GPs from your clinical system.
Once this list of Usual GPs is pulled in, you’ll need to enter the names of the GPs as you’d like them to appear in the New Patient welcome message (and select the Registered GP if you're a systmOne practice).
Then click “Get your link!”
The link to your registration form and QR code poster will become available 🎉. You'll be able to paste this link directly onto your website and the QR code posters can be printed and placed around your practice.
And ta daa! ✨ new patient registrations will now be automated!

12. Switching from Free Hub to Automation (Optional)
If you're currently using our Free Hub and would like to enable automation for new patient registrations, you'll need to upgrade to our full Hub version.
To switch from the Free Hub to the automated version:
Log into your Hub
Select 'Setup Automation'
Complete the Upgrade: Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the upgrade. If you need more help, you can refer to the earlier sections of this support article for detailed steps.
