NHS England (NHS E) has mandated that all practices use the standardised national registration form by the 31st of October 2024. We’re excited to announce that we can automate registrations from the Register with a GP Surgery service, linking seamlessly with the NHS registrations inbox.

No Change in Pricing - Rest assured, there’s no additional cost for automating NHS E registrations!

Automating NHS Registrations: New Customers

For new customers, the link we provide you with will automatically redirect patients to complete the NHS E registration form, meaning you won’t need to take any action on your end!

❗Please wait for email confirmation from the NHS Team about the integration setup before stopping manual processing of any registration emails from NHS Digital. It typically takes about 48 working hours to complete the setup.

Automating NHS Registrations: Existing Customers

For our existing customers, follow these simple steps to enable automation:

  1. Go to the Settings page of the Hub.

  2. Select your practice.

  3. Navigate to Form Settings.

  4. Toggle on receiving registrations from Find a GP and the NHS App.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Settings.

Please wait for email confirmation from the NHS Team about the integration setup before stopping manual processing of any registration emails from NHS Digital. It typically takes about 48 working hours to complete the setup.

If you wish to disable automation for NHS E registrations, please contact us. Any changes to NHS E registration settings can be made via the NHS Profile Manager.

Where to Find NHS E Registrations

You’ll find NHS E registrations in the Hub just like the rest of your automated registrations. We’ll clearly identify which registrations come from the NHS E service. 👇

What About Emails with Registration PDFs from NHS Digital?

You will continue to receive registration notification emails with the PDF forms from NHS Digital. After automation begins, you won’t need to act on these emails.

To keep your inbox organised, consider setting up Outlook rules to automatically file these emails away.

Data Capture Differences

You may notice differences in the data captured between the NHS E online registration form and the Healthtech-1 registration form.

We’ve worked with NHS E to create a local form that aligns with national guidelines while capturing additional relevant data, including health inequalities, special circumstances, and screening data. For more details, check out our article here on the local form offering.
