Signals are used to notify practices about important information provided by patients on their registration form that we feel you should know about. You can learn more about Signals here.
While Signals are important in notifying your practice about important information, not all Signals will be useful for all practices, which is why we have enabled a feature on the Hub where you can turn them off! ๐
How can I turn Signals off?
Sign onto the Hub
Click on settings (top right)
Open up the site you would like to edit signals for and find the 'Signals settings' tab
โScroll through the list of signals and untick the box of all Signals you would like to turn off.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and hit 'save settings'
Why aren't all the Signals appearing for me?
Only Signals relevant to your practice will appear in your settings. As some Signals are linked to configurable Local Form questions, if a question is turned off, it won't appear on your registration form and the corresponding Signal will not show in your Signal settings.
If for any reason you think you should be able to turn off a Signal, and its not appearing on your Hub, please contact support and we can have a look into things for you. ๐ค
Why can't I turn off the clinical Safety signals?
Clinical safety Signals cannot be turned off via the Hub - this is a deliberate decision. If you did want to turn off these Signals, get in touch with us at support and we can turn these off manually with our Clinical safety Officer.
Can I add new Signals?
Yes, we can create custom signals for practices. Get in touch with us at support and we can get this set up for you! ๐
