Log onto Profile Manager. You can do so with your @nhs.net email address.

Once logged in, first check to see if you have access to manage the settings for the practice or branch you want showing on Find a GP. Click 'Manage profiles'

If your practice or branch is on here, then great! (If not jump to Step 3.1) Click on the practice, click on 'Patient registration', and ensure that this is set to 'Yes'.

3.1 - If you don't have any practices showing there then go back to the Home Screen and press 'Add profiles', ensure you select 'Edit profiles and respond to comments' and then follow the steps.

Please note: If you have a branch surgery, you must repeat this step for all of your branches as well as the main surgery.

3.2 - Once requested, it will take NHS England a couple of days to give you access. Please check back on Steps 1-3 periodically until they have done this.

Okay, so you have your practice or branch you can edit settings for. The next step is to Enrol them into the 'Register with a GP surgery service'. From the home page of Profile Manager, click 'Sign up to the Register with a GP surgery service'

For each practice and branch surgery, ensure that you click 'Add practice' and follow the short steps to get them live. Here is an example:

We will periodically check that you have enrolled and the next step is that we automatically let NHS England know you would like your registrations to be sent through to us for automation. They email you directly to confirm once that is set up.
