Sometimes a patient will need to be urgently registered by the practice. In this case, here is what you should do:

Use the 'Find a Patient' feature in the Hub, type in the patients date of birth and/or last name and hit the 'Find patients' button. This will bring up the patients registration form.

Click onto the patients registration form and look for the 'Actions' Panel. Then click on 'I don't want to automate this registration'πŸ‘‡

Then you will need to click on 'I've manually registered this patient'. This will move it out of the pending automation folder, and into the archive folder.

The final step is to manually register the patient as you normally would 😊


Can you prioritise certain registrations for automation?

Unfortunately, due to the way our automation system is designed, we cannot give priority to certain registrations over others. Therefore urgent registrations need to be done manually.

  • Do bear in find that most patients are registered under 24 hours and you are never charged for registrations that you complete manually πŸ˜‡
