What is slot manager?
Slot Manager scans your appointment book and automatically detects your existing slot types.
Then, from the Hub, you can simply:
choose which slot types you want to offer to patients,
and set a daily booking limit
Once done, Bookable handles the rest automatically ✨
Appointments are displayed in real time, and if a slot hasn’t been booked, it will stop showing on Bookable 4 working hours before the appointment start time, helping ensure appointments don’t go to waste. 🎉
💡 Top Tip: For best results add a mix of telephone and face-to-face appointments with both non-GP and GP clinicians.

Why use Slot Manager?
With Slot Manager, there’s no need to create separate Healthtech-1 Bookable-only slot types. Instead, Bookable can surface availability directly from your existing appointment slots. 😎
This means your team can continue working as normal - booking patients into appointments as needed - while Bookable automatically keeps availability up to date to prevent double bookings.
How to get set up?
Please email us via [email protected] to let us know you want to get started and we will initiate the scanning of your appointment book.
👉 Then, you'll be able to head to the Hub and configure which appointments you'd like to offer.

Patients will see more available appointment times, helping them find a slot that works best for them. Once your daily limit has been reached, Bookable will automatically stop displaying further appointments for that day.
Not sure how many appointments to offer?
Your Hub will now has a Demand Dashboard where you can see the demand in your local area.
Based on this data, Bookable will suggest how many slots to make available, although the final decision is always yours!
You can find this dashboard in the Hub under Bookable > Analytics > Demand Dashboard.
