Finding Bookable Analytics in the Hub

What do the graphs mean? There's a lot of data here, so let's break it down πŸ“ˆ

1. Select your Practice Site and your Date Range

  • Practice Site

    • Search your GP practice by ODS Code or Name

    • If you have multiple GP practices (separate ODS codes), use the "Site" selector to drill down further and select multiple sites to have a global overview.

  • Date Range:

    • If you leave this blank, the Dashboard will show all data since you started on Bookable. Note that we only show 2 weeks of appointments in the future.

    • You can select a specific timeframe if you want to see your performance over a particular period of time (day/week/month)

2. Overall Progress

3 key metrics to monitor your growth with Bookable:

  1. Registrations: number of registration received through your profile on Bookable, percentage of registrations received through Bookable compared to the practice's total.

  2. Appointments Booked (in the past): overall number / utilisation rate of past appointments / split between face-to-face and telephone appointments booked

  3. List Size: your list size trend over time. NB: this data comes from NHS England so is slightly delayed compared to what you will see in your clinical system.

3. Levers of Growth

These are the different levers you can play with to increase Bookable value:

  1. Appointments Currently Available on Bookable in the next 2 weeks. We recommend to add approx 5 GP appointments per day if you have the capacity.

  2. Utilisation rate of your past appointments. On average, face-face appointments get booked 1.5x more than telephone appointments.

  3. Patient Feedback Score.

  4. Number of Clinician at your practice by Role. Adding non-GP slots on Bookable can help you protect your GPs' time, get more registrations and book patients in with the right person. More info here.

  5. Practice site accepting Out Of Area Patients or not. Accepting OOA is a powerful lever to grow. More info here.

4. Upcoming Appointments Overview

Details on your upcoming appointments.

⚠️ All dashboards are showing up to 2 weeks in the future

  1. Appointments you've added in the future

  2. Among the added appointments, number of appointments still available

  3. Among the added appointments, number of future appointments booked

  4. Among the added appointments, percentage of future appointments booked

  5. Among the added appointments, number of future appointments booked over by practice

  6. Among the added appointments, percentage of future appointments Booked over by the practice.

  7. Detailed list of all upcoming appointments, their start date, format, status

5. Past Appointments Overview

Detailed analytics on past appointments.

  1. Overall data on Appointments Offered / Appointments Booked / Utilisation rate globally and on a weekly basis

  2. Split of Face-to-Face and Telephone appointments

6. Patient Feedback

We ask patients for feedback after each consultation. The response rate for feedback requests is generally around 10%.

7. Care Navigation

These two pie charts help you identify:

  1. Booked appointments split by your GPs and non-GP clinicians.

  2. This is the theoretical split of what actual % of appointments could have been given to your GPs vs your non-GPs clinicians. On average, 70% of patient requests on Bookable can classified into a request category, and potentially be seen by a non-GP clinician (Nurse, ANP, Physio, etc.) To add non-GP slots follow the steps here.
