To get your practice started on the Bookable platform, there are a few quick steps you'll need to complete β‘οΈ
Step 0: Get in touch with us
Please reach out to [email protected] to register your interest in Bookable. One of the team will talk you through the product and if you are keen to get started we will get your onboarding link over to you!
π‘ Note: The Bookable onboarding requires you to be set up with automated registrations already.
If you are not already set up with registrations, please go to this article to complete the automated registrations onboarding first!
Step 1: Start the onboarding flow
Once you've got the link you will be able to access the online onboarding. There are a few steps which we will walk you though.
Firstly, have a read of the terms of service. You will see links to our T&Cs, Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement on this page. When you have read these and are happy, just click 'I agree and continue'.
Steps 2 & 3: User setup & Practice details
We will automatically sync your EMIS/SystmOne and practice details.
Please confirm these details and let us know if anything isn't looking quite right!
Step 4: Set up your interpreter preferences
In this section you will need to configure how you handle appointments which require an interpreter.
Step 5: Head to your clinical system and set up some slots
To start receiving registrations through Bookable, you need to add appointment slots for us to show on the website! There are two main slot types:
Face to Face - to be seen in the practice at a scheduled time
Telephone - to be phoned within a morning or afternoon session
You will be able to follow our step-by-step guide to setting up slots on EMIS/SystmOne directly on this page of the onboarding.
Once you have set up the slots click 'continue'.
Step 6: Let us know which clinicians can do what
This section is super important if you want to offer non-GP appointments, e.g., ANP's or Physio's, to patients. Bookable uses Care Navigation to direct patients to the right person first time.
Here you will need to select a clinician who you plan to offer appointments with from the drop down list.
Once you have selected a clinician, complete the information section. You can also add any additional languages that the clinician speaks
π‘ Note: this list will be taken directly from your clinical system, please don't worry about setting each clinician - you only need to do the ones you plan to add Bookable slots for.
Step 7: Check your Location Profile is looking good
Here you will need to check the location details of your practice. Please make sure the address is correct, and if its not already auto-populate, add your practice patient triage form link.
We also need you to add a picture of your practice - this will be the picture displayed on the Bookable site πΈ
Step 8: Verify your set up and go live!
