The Cyber Essentials scheme is a UK government-backed framework supported by the National Cyber Security Centre. Completion of the scheme demonstrates an organisation's commitment to cyber security.

Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of certification offered under the Cyber Essentials scheme. It is a more rigorous test of an organisation’s cyber security systems where cyber security experts carry out vulnerability tests to make sure that an organisation is protected against basic hacking and phishing attacks.

Healthtech-1 was re-certified to Cyber Essentials standards on 23rd April 2024 with the certificate number: 78ac6dd3-4639-4265-8bb4-1455ad220e17.

Healthtech-1 was certified to Cyber Essentials Plus standards on 2nd May 2024 with the certificate number: 80915d5f-b41a-465b-8344-726b79df5b18.

The NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit allows organisations to measure their performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 data security standards.

All organisations that have access to NHS patient data and systems must use the toolkit to provide assurance that they are practising good data security and that personal information is handled correctly.

NHS Digital is working with Healthtech-1 to automate registration forms that are received through the NHS Register with a GP service and Find a GP.
