Collect information about patients' EHIC

We can ask patients whether they have a non-UK European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). This information helps the NHS to identify EEA (European Economic Area) patients who can use their EHIC to access treatment in the NHS, with the UK then recovering the costs of any treatment from their respective member state.

What do I do with this information?

The EHIC details can be downloaded as a PDF and forwarded on to [email protected], or used in your usual workflow.
